Service that provides bereavement counselling to families living in the Croydon area experiencing severe or prolonged shock or depression arising from bereavement and loss. The Service gives support through selected and trained Christian counsellors to bereaved and pre-bereaved people. It assists them through their period of mourning and encourages acceptance of loss and readjustment. It also serves to educate and increase the awareness of the nature of grief and bereavement. The service is freely available to Croydon residents affected by loss, regardless of race, colour, nationality, belief, age, gender, status, sexual orientation or physical disability.
